A textile artist, painter and educator, Hilary creates modern textile designs inspired by natural dye, indigo, and watercolors. Her artwork, textiles and products can be found in interiors world-wide.
Hilary is sought after for her workshops and courses which invite her students to explore, create, and connect with joy. Informed by her travels to places as far flung as India and Japan, and by the colors found in the natural world around her. Plants, botanical extracts and the pulp of trees provide the rich pallet from which shoe explores the most intricate designs.
“When working with natural dyes I like to know where the materials are coming from, and that they’re all eco friendly. I started working with Zen Running Club with their launch in Los Angeles, and we are releasing a limited edition pair of hand dyed, tie-dyed socks.”
Dyed with turmeric and henna, and limited to just 50 unique pairs.
